Sometimes in a small office you need to get some help when it comes to expanding your desktop footprint.

Well, I found an office accessory that will do just that and it’s called The Original Desk Potato by Stand Steady who are known for their standing desks (scroll down to the bottom to view some of them).

I bought one for my home office and I really like it because it gives me some added space to my desktop.

There is another version to the left that actually has partitions for your pencils, cell phone, energy bar, or whatever you’d like to store.

I bought the one without the partitions because I really wanted the full surface and didn’t want to be hindered by separate partitions to place my office items.

It makes sense why someone would want the one with partitions, but I already have a Perch Monitor Stand that has all of the compartments I need to place my small office items like scissors, stapler, paper clips, Post-it flags and notes, pens, pencils, etc.

This is one of those cool office gadgets and one of the best features of this really cool office accessory is the fact that it rotates 360 degrees so if you don’t want to stow it beneath your desk you can do so easily.

Another nice feature is that the surface is basically a mouse pad if you want to use it for your mouse but you can store anything on it.

Check out the pictures below where I place my wireless charger on it and on the other side of my desk I can place my compressed air canisters on it as well. Your options are endless!
