Being able to transcribe information from hard-copy to your computer can be a struggle without some type of copy holder to keep that hard-copy upright and in full view. Well, I wrote an article a while ago about a 3-M Document Wedge which has since been discontinued by the company.
Since I am always on the lookout for new office and cubicle accessories, I was hoping I’d be able to find a replacement for the document wedge I referenced above. Well I did!
It is called the Vanki Paper Document Copy Holder Stand Wedge. It is eerily similar to the 3-M Document Wedge mentioned above. It is essentially a replica of the 3-M version so it basically provides the same support of hard-copy as the 3-M version.
Out there in the marketplace there are a myriad of different versions of copy holders and this is simply one of the many. There are types that attach to your computer monitor like this one and there are types that are free-standing like this Vanki Copy Holder.

The Vanki Copy Holder in my home office
So, if you could use a small footprint, sturdy copy holder that you can use on a cramped desktop, the Vanki Copy Holder would be a great option for you. I have used the 3-M version for years and recently picked up this Vanki copy holder.
I love the design and, more importantly, the fact that it is compact. It allows you the ability to transport the accessory if you want to bring it back and forth between your home office and your work cubicle. To be honest, it’s so inexpensive why not just buy two of them? It’s also a great option to hold recipes in the kitchen!
