If you are anything like me, you try to make your office a fun and enjoyable place to come to each day. And if you own a cell phone, which would be surprising if you didn’t, then you are probably always on the lookout for some really cool cell phone accessories and cool office gadgets. Well, I found a new one and it’s called a Thumb Smartphone Stand Holder made by Honsky. These are unique units made of high-grade recyclable brightly-colored plastic that have 2 small thumbs-up hands that grab onto your cell phone. This unit will grab onto your phone for perfect viewing on your desktop or any surface upon which you want to view or store your cell phone.
What’s great about these Thumb Smartphone Stand Holders is that they can hold your cell phone either standing up and down or on its side. It will hold a smart phone or tablet with approximate span from 3 1/2 inches to 8 inches. There is a limitation on the thickness of the cell phone or the tablet which could be due to the addition of an OtterBox case or a case that is bulky. The limitation set by the manufacturer is 3/8 inches so this means that the thickness of your case with the phone cannot exceed 3/8 inches.
My tests show that you can go as thick as 7/16 inches but greater than that the fingers will not grab onto the case properly. As you will see below, I show an iPhone 5 with an OtterBox that makes the thickness 5/8 inches.
