I don’t know about you but whatever the season, the temperatures in my office cubicle can at times be hot enough to use a fan of any type, including a USB fan. I recently came across a pretty versatile Arctic Breeze Mobile USB Fan and decided to pick one up, not only for my office cubicle, but also for my home office.
A little over a month ago, during a really hot week in September, the air conditioning at my work went on the blink. And it was unavailable for a couple of days. Needless to say, everyone was scrambling for a desk fan of some type. At the time, I didn't have a desk fan but started looking into what was available.
It was during this time that I decided to purchase two Arctic Breeze Mobile USB Fans just in case I needed to cool down at my office cubicle or in my home office. There really isn’t a whole lot of working parts with this USB fan but it certainly does the trick! It essentially has a low noise hard plastic impeller, a flexible neck which is probably the most key component, and a USB connection.

What I really like about it is that there is no on/off switch and you can’t hurt your fingers if you want to stop the blade. All you have to do is insert the USB into the USB port on your laptop or a mobile charger which actually makes it more versatile in that you could use it anywhere, not only while you are sitting at your computer.
