In an office setting, whether it be in a cubicle or an open office, being able to hear the person on the other end of the phone or other attendees in an online meeting is extremely important.
In my line of work, if I am conducting a meeting using GoToMeeting, I cannot afford to hold a phone to my ear especially if I am demoing a piece of software. I found a solution to my needs with the Panasonic Headset.
When I was looking for a reasonably-priced headset I went online and looked for the Amazon Best Sellers. The Panasonic Headset is a #1 Best Seller (as seen in the image below) and after using it for a couple of weeks now, I can certainly see why. For one, the price point is great as I picked up mine for $18.95 on Amazon. I also liked the fact that it was a foldable headset so it takes up a small amount of storage when not in use.
Whether I am in my office cubicle or in my home office, the last thing I want is for any background noise to be heard during an online meeting or a phone call. This headset does the trick for my needs. It’s comfortable on my head and easily fits out of the way due to its foldable feature.

Important Note: If you want to use this with a standard PC headphone jack or a smartphone audio jack you will need to buy a 2.5mm to 3.5 mm adaptor as is shown in the image here on the left. I didn’t know about this when I purchased the headset originally and had to order the adaptor afterwards to use it with my computer and smartphone. It sold for roughly $5.
Another couple of features of the unit is that there is a Mute button on the cord as well as a volume control that you can adjust easily.
